Description

9AM-12PM: Power Machine Robotics

Learn Robotics while you build powerful motorized vehicles like trucks, space rovers, helicopters, and more in this super-fun course! Design them to navigate obstacle courses, conduct races, and move mountains of LEGO bricks. Students learn Engineering and Physics concepts like Levers, Forces, and Torque as they construct cool motorized equipment using LEGO gears, pulleys, cams, and axles.

 

12PM-1PM: Lunch Break

Students should bring nut-free lunch, snacks, and juice to eat and enjoy as they get hungry throughout the day.  Water and restrooms are available.  If weather permits, campers will be taken outside to walk and enjoy the playground nearby.

 

1PM-4PM: Roblox Coding - Building Your Own Obby

Love to play Roblox?!  Now you can learn to code it too!  Coding with Roblox shows you how to create and code your very own multiplayer, online game with Roblox!  Drag, drop, and manipulate 3D objects to design your own obby that your friends can play!  Create cool scripts using variables and loops for in-game visual effects. Build rooms, change colors, create your own 3D, interactive games to have fun with family and friends!  Build your world, set your rules, and code your very own adventure!  See how easy it is to get started with the wonderful world of coding!

Anyone can build a game on Roblox, even if you’re new to coding or you’ve never designed your own virtual world before. We’ll show you how!  With a little imagination and the right tools, you take your first step into the super-fun world of video game development!

  • All Students are welcome to eat snacks throughout the day and join us for lunch between 12PM-1PM
  • 'Please' no nuts of any kind may be brought into our maker studio.  
  • Water and restrooms are available. 
  • All Campers are expected to be fully self-sufficient and on respectful behavior at all times. 
  • Students are expected to address any special needs, medications, and bathroom responsibilities for themselves. 
  • Please pack an extra change of clothes, just in case of spillage or other accidents.
  • Early-morning drop-off and/or late-afternoon pickup are available.
