UPDATE Saturday 6/8/2024:

Dear Parents,

Unfortunately, one of our Teachers sadly had an unexpected emergency on Friday, June 7.  As a result, we are having to cancel all afternoon Robotics Camp programs and After-Care programs on the following days:

  • Wednesday, June 12 @ 1PM-4PM
  • Thursday, June 13 @ 1PM-4PM
  • Friday, June 14 @ 1PM-4PM
  • All After-Care programs @ 4PM-6PM held on these days

I apologize for the inconvenience that this last-minute issue has caused you.  We are reaching out individually to each family affected with these changes.  

For clarification purposes, all other programs will proceed as originally scheduled.  These include:

  • All morning Before-Care programs held @ 8AM-9AM each day Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14 
  • All morning LEGO Camp programs held @ 9AM-12PM each day Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14 
  • All afternoon Robotics Camp programs held @ 1PM-4PM on Monday, Jun 10 and Tuesday, June 12 only
  • All after-care programs held @ 4PM-6PM on Monday, Jun 10 and Tuesday, June 12 only

Description

9AM-12PM: LEGO Dinosaurs / Jurassic Park

Did you hear that?!  What was that?!  Was it a lion, a tiger, or a... DINOSAURRRRR!!!  Ahhh!!

LEGO® Dinosaurs - Jurassic Park teaches students all about dinosaurs using the fun of LEGO® bricks!  Kids learn about each of the many kinds of these reptilian beasts there were, as well as their habitats, food supply, Pangea and plate tectonics, volcanic activity and more.  Our classes play Dinosaur Jeopardy, tell Dinosaur jokes, and build vast Dinosaur landscapes utilizing more than 30,000 LEGO® bricks!  Students work in teams and present their creations to the class, family, and friends!  Super-Fun!

 

12PM-1PM: Lunch Break

Students should bring nut-free lunch, snacks, and juice to eat and enjoy as they get hungry throughout the day.  Water and restrooms are available.  If weather permits, campers will be taken outside to walk and enjoy the playground nearby.

 

1PM-4PM: Junior Power Machine Robotics

Learn Robotics while you build and program awesome motorized vehicles like trucks, space rovers, helicopters, and more in this super-fun class!  Kids have so much fun and learn about gears, pulleys, sensors, and coding to bring their models to life!  Build, learn, and play!

Early-Morning Drop-Off and Late-Afternoon Pick-Up services are available here.

 

Notes:

  • All Students are welcome to eat snacks throughout the day and join us for lunch between 12PM-1PM
  • 'Please' no nuts of any kind may be brought into our maker studio.  
  • Water and restrooms are available. 
  • If weather permits, campers will be taken outside to walk and enjoy the playground nearby.
  • All Campers are expected to be fully self-sufficient and on respectful behavior at all times. 
  • Students are expected to address any special needs, medications, and bathroom responsibilities for themselves. 
  • Please pack an extra change of clothes, just in case of spillage or other accidents.
  • Early-morning drop-off and/or late-afternoon pickup are available.
