Amazing Animals Robotics @ Kelley - Mondays - Spring 2024

Amazing Animals Robotics is an introductory course in Robotics designed for Students in K-5.  In this course, Students are organized by Grade and taught Engineering concepts appropriate for their Grade level.  In some projects, all Students may begin at the same basic design; however, older Students are taught more advanced topics and asked to modify their design by applying the math skills appropriate for their Grade level:

• Students in Grades 4-5 apply their skills in Division, Ratios, Percentages.  Advanced Students apply skills in introductory Geometry and Algebra
• Students in Grades 2-3 apply their skills in Addition, Subtraction, and Multiplication
• Students in K-1 apply their skills in Counting, simple Addition, and Fine Motor Skills

Amazing Animals Robotics is offered for (7) weeks from April 1 to May 20.  Classes are held each Monday after school for one hour at Kelley Elementary School on the following dates:

• 4/1, 4,15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20
• No classes are held on 4/8 due to Spring Break

Please send an email or a note with your child each week signifying to the school and their homeroom Teacher that you authorize your child to be dismissed to our after-school program. 

Enrollment for this program is limited to 14 students only.  If registration is full, please join our Waitlist, so we may contact you if a spot becomes available or if we can add a class session. There is no charge to be on the Waitlist. Payments are processed only upon actual registration of your child to the program.   

A Payment Plan is offered at check-out, for those families that prefer it.  This Payment Plan is managed by an outside firm that may charge a nominal fee.
