Description

LEGO CITY - Designing Super-Cool Buildings & Bridges

We all LOVE to build Buildings with LEGO! But buildings are much more than 4 walls with a baseplate on top! The professionals at LEGO keep releasing awesome buildings like the Diner, BookShop, Police Station, Jazz Club, and more. And, as we look at the world around us, we see beautiful, inspiring architecture and super cool designs that have stood the test of time! Even the homes we live in or the stores we go to every day have interesting slopes and moldings, and landscapes!

So how can we use our LEGO skills to create super-cool buildings too?! What can we learn from how others have created their architectural designs and bring into our LEGO builds too?! In this course, we help kids answer exactly these questions and more! Students learn age-appropriate concepts of Colors, Shapes, basic LEGO-building Techniques, and how to tell a story using LEGO bricks as an art medium. Older, more experienced kids learn basic Framing & Composition, Symmetry & Rules of Thirds, and more advanced LEGO-building and structural techniques.

If your LEGO-lover has big ideas and needs to build up their skills in order to help get there, then this is the course for them! Come take this course to find out how to take your LEGO-building to the next level!
