Description

This full-day camp helps students build their Robotics and Coding skills by exposing them to the application of Coding both on and off the computer.

9AM-12PM: Junior Robotics - Magic Powers Robotics

Abracadabra!  Ka-blam!  In Magic Powers Robotics, kids build and code Magic Wands, Moving Stars, Top Hats with Bunnies, and more.  Students have fun learning about motors, gears, and coding as they make their robotics creations come to life!  Lessons are designed to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills in a fun and engaging way!

12PM-1PM: Lunch Break

Students should bring nut-free lunch, snacks, and juice to eat and enjoy as they get hungry throughout the day.  Water and restrooms are available.  If weather permits, campers will be taken outside to walk and enjoy the playground nearby.

1PM-4PM: Junior Engineers

Let's take our LEGO-building to a whole new level!  Junior Engineers introduce kids to Technic by creating LEGO models that move!  Kids have fun building Merry-Go-Rounds, Seesaws, Puppy Dogs, and more while learning about gears, pulleys, axles, and other elementary Engineering components!  Students practice and apply their counting, simple addition, and subtraction skills in order to solidify their math skills and see how what they are learning in school is applied in real-life!  Junior Engineers provides eye-opening experiences!  Your child will be amazed at what they can build and create!
