Description

Introduction to Python3 is an Intermediate-level Coding course for kids that teaches them to create code using the Python programming language.  In this course, students transition from using a drag-and-drop programming system to text-based coding.  Through NextGen SmartyPants' project-based learning system, kids create fun, interactive games, animations, and graphic arts projects as they learn about variables, syntax, logic, data structures, and more.

NextGen SmartyPants teaches Introduction to Python3 across four increasingly challenging levels:

Level 1 - Python Fundamentals
Level 2 - Logic and Loops
Level 3 - Functions and Data Structures
Level 4 - Developing Apps and Games

Students do not need to choose a level prior to enrollment.  Students are grouped into teams based on their previous experiences level, and guided through the curriculum for the entire week of Camp.
