Junior Coding with Scratch Junior
Junior Coding with Scratch Junior is a super-fun way to introduce your child
to the wonders of Coding! Drag, drop, click… you’ll be amazed at what
they can do!
Coding takes time and practice to learn and develop competency for more advanced skills. NextGen's curriculum keeps things fresh and introduces kids
to new and cool ways to practice, create, and develop their code! Junior Coding with Scratch Junior consists of (4) 12-session courses:
Students are enrolled in the appropriate program level based on their previous experience. All children new to Scratch Junior receive the Intro to Scratch Junior
curriculum. Students having previously enrolled in Scratch Junior with
NextGen SmartyPants are placed in one of the other three listed,
depending on which course(s) they have taken previously. Kids are
grouped together based on grade-level, experience, and interests so that
they can learn, interact and play!
NextGen
teachers assess a child's skillset and adjust the
curriculum accordingly in order to help your child achieve and succeed
at their skill level!
