Celebrate Memorial Day the NextGen way! With fun STEAM learning, of course!
On this special day, children have the opportunity to learn about the significance of Memorial Day and honor those who served in the military while enjoying a day filled with engaging STEAM activities. We begin each session with a group discussion about the importance of Memorial Day and the sacrifices made by our veterans. We talk about what it means to remember and show gratitude, the history of this day, and the significance of what their parents and families may be doing to commemorate it. Children are then encouraged to create a project or artwork that reflects their thoughts and understanding of Memorial Day, which they can proudly share with parents and visitors in our Maker Studio.
After our LEGO build, Students are grouped by grade level and can choose a STEAM activity.
