Description

Celebrate this holiday the NextGen way!  With fun STEAM learning, of course!

Embark on an exhilarating journey into the world of STEM Exploration at our One-Day Holiday Camp! This camp is tailor-made for kids with a day off from school who are eager to dive headfirst into the exciting realm of technology. At our holiday camp, young adventurers will discover a multitude of options, including Coding, Robotics, Engineering, or LEGO building. We encourage campers to explore a range of these possibilities, allowing their curiosity and passion to guide them. 

Students are grouped together by grade level and organized to work as a group or individually as each student prefers.

 

MORNING @ 9AM-12PM

During the Morning session from 9AM-12PM, Students can choose a project in Coding or Engineering:

Coding:
Grades K-1 - Junior Coding
Grades 2-4 - Beginner Coding
Grades 5-8 - Beginner or Intermediate Coding

Engineering:
Grades K-1 - Junior Engineers
Grades 2-4 - Basic Engineers
Grades 5-8 - Beginner or Intermediate Engineers


AFTERNOON @ 1PM-4PM:

During the Afternoon from 1PM-4PM, Students can choose a project in Robotics or LEGO Design.  The Robotics project can be in one of many options such as Amazing Animals Robotics, BattleBot Robotics, or more.  For LEGO Design, kids can choose from one of 50 different themes like LEGO CITY, SuperHeroes, Ninjago, Minecraft, and many others!

Robotics:
Grades K-1 - Junior Robotics
Grades 2-4 - Beginner Robotics
Grades 5-8 - Beginner or Intermediate Robotics

LEGO Design:
Grades K-1 - Junior LEGO Designer
Grades 2-4 - LEGO Designer
Grades 5-8 - LEGO Designer

 

Early-Morning Drop-Off and Late-Afternoon Pick-Up services are available here.

 

Notes:

  • All Students are welcome to eat snacks throughout the day and join us for lunch between 12PM-1PM
  • 'Please' no nuts of any kind may be brought into our maker studio.  
  • Water and restrooms are available. 
  • If weather permits, campers will be taken outside to walk and enjoy the playground nearby.
  • All Campers are expected to be fully self-sufficient and on respectful behavior at all times. 
  • Students are expected to address any special needs, medications, and bathroom responsibilities for themselves. 
  • Please pack an extra change of clothes, just in case of spillage or other accidents.
  • Early-morning drop-off and/or late-afternoon pickup are available.
