Description

Celebrate our right to vote the NextGen way!  With fun STEAM learning, of course!

On this special day, kids learn about democracy and the importance of voting, and then enjoy a day of fun, STEAM learning!  We spend the first-hour of each session with a group discussion of the importance of Election Day and our right to vote. We discuss what it means to vote, how our democracy works, and the importance of what their Parents are doing on this special day.  Students are then asked to create a LEGO build of their impressions and understanding of our discussion and display their builds for all Parents and Visitors to our Maker Studio.

After our LEGO build, Students are grouped by grade level and can choose a STEAM activity.
